...day 2 - 6 was fun too! we are home now & getting caught up from coming home to a mess. A 5 day power outage makes a stinky home! Freezers and fridge are all cleaned, laundry done from vacation, and everybody is getting back into a summer routine...

The boys and I are having planning meetings for the missions trip to Jamaica (July 27-Aug 3) We will be doing VBS there and helping at an orphanage for special needs children. It's not a glorious trip - we'll be sweating it out in the mountains of Jamaica - not hitting the beach in the nice area of the island! Actually there is one day that we'll get to see some nice parts, but that's the exception! Please pray for our trip!

It's been a great weekend! Nathan's graduation and graduation party was really fun, with lots of good friends and family! He was able to secure a summer job today at LU in the Maintenance dept. He'll be doing Tile & ceiling all summer - sore shoulders for sure! Sorry that Mom & Dad couldn't come down for the festivities, but we're looking forward to seeing them for July4th on our way back from Maine.

The boys changed too quick - I didn't get their pictures in time :( they didn't like their Easter clothes anyways...light blue and light green shirts - oh well!

Spring 2012

Finally it's Spring! Busy couple of months behind, and a few busy months coming up!...
Kate is in the LCA Spring play "Wizard of Oz", and practice is in full swing, many afterschools per week.  Plus she has soccer and piano lessons!
Nathan is looking forward to graduation, actually "checked" out many months ago - so the mere matter of 63 days till graduation means little.  He is all set for Fall at LU - Room and board $ is in and roomate situation is being settled this week (He wants to room with his buddy Logan). They have a CD coming out soon and several "gigs" lined up into the summer. :)
Josh is fighting me to not get his haircut, he loves his curls :) That's his biggest worry in 8th grade - what his hair looks like!  He is signed up for Track camp and will be joining Track for the Fall - 9th grade!!! The boys and Deb are going on a missions trip in July to Jamaica with the church missions team.  There are 11 people going, we'll be working at Clay Ground Tabernacle doing a VBS and helping out with projects there for a week.
So that's the news here - for now! ...Always something...
